
Roxann Latimer-Deku is a writer, poet, journalist, and artist, and works as a Social Worker for Victims
of violence and battered abused women. Roxann is also President of WIM Media & Publications Group
and co founder and President of the Friends of Russell Latimer, Inc. She has lived and worked in Ghana West Africa
and been a public speaker on issues of social services and activism. As a television producer Roxann has developed and
airs several informative and educational television programs on public access stations across the U.S.

Edward Rivers
With degrees in Police Science and African Studies Mr. Rivers has worked as Director of the Men's Transitional
Housing Program for the Salvation Army in San Diego, California for over 10 years. He is also the Chairman of the Friends
of Russell Latimer, Inc. Mr. Rivers will present on Social Services and Case Management.

Michael Jack is the Indian Child Welfare Specialist for the Quechan Indian Tribe. He is also trained in substance
abuse counseling, case management, advocacy and counseling. Michael is skilled in working with multi jurisdictions and
various client populations. With expertise in program development and implementation, Michael will provide valuable information
to social workers and service providers and proper procedural options for professionals in social service industries.

James Beauregard is retired Army and a member of the Shriners of Riverside, Ca. he is the founder and President
of the Beauregard Foundation. He has been cooking and serving food to the homeless for over 28 years. James was
recently awarded the prestigious Humanitarian Award by the United States Congress for his work in the community.

STARLA LEWIS, M.S.
Starla Lewis is a woman on a mission. She has developed and facilitated seminars in the areas of Cultural Diversity, Life
Mastery and Human Potential both nationally and internationally. Her 25 years of research and experience in Ethnic Studies,
Women Studies and African Studies have enhanced her ability to connect diverse communities. Ms. Lewis works with corporations,
social organizations, penal institutions and school districts. She has utilized her creative abilities as an author, poet,
and performer to create a unique "edutaining" environment for her experiential lectures, workshops and seminars. She has appeared
on numerous television and radio programs, and The San Diego Union Tribune recently profiled her as the Bob Marley Peace Award
recipient for leadership. Starla holds a M.S. degree in Counseling and is a six-time recipient of the Mesa College Teacher
of the Year Award. She is currently Department Chairwoman of Black Studies at San Diego Mesa College and is completing her
latest book on Racism and Sexism.

Tamara Fore
Currently managing one of the largest health care firms in the United States, Ms. Fore has worked as journalist,
editor and social worker. Ms. Fore will present on cultural diveristy training in the workforce.

Fiagli Degbor
An entrepreneur, Mr. Degbor will present on business opportunities in Ghana West Africa, introducing various
companies and ministries in Ghana that will provide joint venture opportunities for American individuals and companies.
Mr. Simon Kobla Darius Afawubo is CEO of Kredens Konsult, a firm providing consultancy in Human Resource Management
and Information Technology. Fluent in french, Simon spent some years in the Ivory Coast and other parts of Africa working as the head of Computer department
for an Israeli company, SONITRA before returning to Ghana establishing his own firm. Kredens provides networking and assistance in setting up company office's with today's up to the minute computer
technology equipments and latest office software. The firm also provides out sourcing and proposal writings for individauls
and other corporate bodies. Simon will address the importance of technology
in business development and various ways to obtain technical resources.
